Local heroes are already stepping up to protect their communities, often without access to training, tools, or networks.
Our Local Heroes Mentoring Program supports these individuals through one-to-one and small-group mentoring with experienced practitioners in circular economy, resource recovery, education, and eco-creativity.
We don’t tell communities what to do.
We listen, support, and help local leadership grow.
Mentoring supports:
- Resource recovery and recycling training programs
- Community education initiatives
- Digital platforms supporting circular livelihoods
- Mobile recycling and material recovery stations
- Circular economy consulting and system design
- Donation of recycling tools and equipment to remote communities
